1254.) okay so theres this guy right? and ive known him to him for about 6-7 months now, and ive been like talking talking to him for about 2-3 months, and like i really really really really like him, almost to the point where i love him. and he likes me back, the other night he said he loved me and stuff, but like i cant, we cant be together. because hes a Jehovah’s witness and they say you cant be with someone untill your 18 and the person you date has to be a witness too AND she has to become your wife. and hes like really into his religion. i wouldnt mind waiting till hes 18 and being his wife and stuff, but i dont want to become a witness. and like theres other guys who i can be with but im just waiting for him, and im missing out on a lot of stuff, for him. and its like, idk what to do. should i wait? or should i tell him that we should just be friends?  

I understand that you could wait for him. But that whole converting for him, that’s a problem. If you convert for him, you gotta change all of your beliefs and you might have to give up certain things. I don’t know a lot about Witnesses and stuff, but they’re kinda strict about a lot of stuff. I guess the best thing would to do is to let him know that you two should be friends. Because, if he’s not gonna make any changes to be with you, why should you change everything to be with him? I wouldn’t go be with that other guy, because you’ll hurt the first guys feelings. Just stay single and live your life.
